Day 1 Windhoek

The capital of Namibia

The transfer to the city and your hotel takes around 40 minutes.

You will need some time to rest after you long flight, relax at the pool or take a nap.

In the evening we recommend a small tour, view the sunset from "luxury hill"

No visit to Windhoek is complete without a dinner at the iconic "Joe`s Beerhouse"

Day 2&3 Sossusvlei

The majestic landscapes of the Namib Desert

Experience nature with all your senses......

We stay in an "En-suite" tented camp allowing us to be as close as possible to nature without giving up some of the luxuries like a hot shower.

You can even choose to sleep under the stars. You will never forget the "milky way" or the silence!

Day 4-7 Swakopmund

Between the desert and the Atlantic Ocean

You will enjoy the change as you arrive at the wild Atlantic coast - the cool breeze from the ocean is a stark contrast for the dry desert air.

You find the European character of the town a pleasant surprise.

World class restaurants serving fresh seafood or try a game steak. While you make your menu choices

Your stay will be too short to do it all, but you will want to return anyway! A hot tip the "living desert" day tour.

Or choose to shop. The handcrafted jewelry (remember Namibia produces some of the finest diamonds) and leather goods are a legacy of the German colonial times and perfect craftsmanship.

Day 8&9 Damaraland

Wild elephants and rhinos

The arid Northwest of Namibia is home to the rare desert elephant and some of the last free roaming rhinos outside of the national parks.

You will have a choice between going on an open safari style vehicle or let a game ranger help you track down these amazing creatures on foot.

And in the evening share the ambience of a classic safari lodge as we enjoy the campfire.

Day 10-13 Etosha Safari

The top SAFARI  highlight

The park spans an area of 22,270 km2 (8,600 sq mi) and gets its name from the large Etosha pan which is almost entirely within the park.

The area is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including several threatened and endangered species such as the black rhinoceros.

Visit Okaukuejo Rest Camp, famous for it`s floodlit waterhole. Formerly a military outpost founded in 1901 and incorporated when the park was founded in 1907.

You will do a game drive  just after sunrise, spend the heat of the day at the pool and head out again to return just before sunset - and if you have not had enough feel free take your position at the waterhole with a glass of wine or a camera -or both!

Planning a Guided Tour

Accommodation options in southern Africa vary from camping (including fine glamping) through to luxury, exclusive 5-star lodges. A standard 14-day guided tour can offer a mix of glamping and typical 3-4 star accommodation. It normally includes transfers, accommodation (some meals) and all transportation. Excludes international flights  and all personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, restaurant meals etc.

Also available are bespoke tours (including fly-in safaris).

NACSO: The Namibian Association of CBNRM Support Organisations is the primary hub for information, maps, and details on Namibia's 80+ communal conservancies.
